Amazon Herb Company was founded by John Easterling in 1990. The company finds itself in a unique and popular position, not only by virtue of supplying the growing number of alternative health care practitioners but also by way of the public's very strong awareness of and interest in the rainforests of South America. The company has, through the years of working with health care practitioners, gained invaluable feedback on the benefits of the products. By interacting closely with many professionals, the company has developed a line of herbal supplements. In December of 1992, the company made their products available to a wider audience by introducing a multi-level network-marketing format. This format effectively makes the products available to everyone and the demand for the products continues to experience strong growth. Plants used in the company's reinforest bio-energetics products line are harvested wild in the sanctuary of their natural environment. When possible, our raw herbs are acquired from the 'curanderos' or traditional medicine man of the various amazonian tribes that we work with. A lab is used in Brazil and Peru to verify the identity, quality and purity of each plant. These botanicals are then dried, shredded, packed in fiber barrels and shipped to the U.S. with all appropriate documentation including special customs invoices and certificates. All shipments are cleared and inspected by U.S. Customs, Department of Agriculture and the Food and Drug Administration. All Amazon Herb Company products are imported, processed and sold as dietary supplements. No drug claims are made, therefore, these products fall into the food category of the FDA regulations. After clearing the company's in-house quality control inspections, these materials are then sent to an FDA registered lab for further processing and bottling. When processing and bottling is completed, the finished product is returned to the marketing and distribution center in Jupiter, Florida
